Four things come not back:
The spoken word
The sped arrow
The past of life
And the neglected opportunity

The Book Of Love
The Book of Love
Is long and boring
No one can lift the damn thing
Its full of charts and facts and figures
and instructions for dancing
But I
I love it when you read to me
And you
You can read me anything
The Book of Love
Has music in it
In fact that’s where music comes from
Some of its just transcendental
Some of its just really dumb
But I
I love it when you sing to me
And you
You can sing me anything
The Book of Love is long and boring
And written very long ago
Its full of flowers and heart-shaped boxes
And things we’re all too young to know
But I
I love it when yu give me things
And you
You ought to give me wedding rings
………
The lyrics of one of my favourite songs
=)
luckily, I found the lyrics from the internet
And, for some unknown reason
I’m suddenly becoming addicted to putting smileys
=)
LoL
Its called…..
SMILEY OBSSESSION!!!
save me
=)
-.-
I’m currently listening to : You’ll Be In My Heart (Phil Collins)
SMILEY OBSSESSION!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another Day Of Random Doings =)
Today…..
I successfully cooked a dish of scrumptious fried vegetables
Interesting to know that I actually approved of my own cooking (for once) apart from the super easy fried eggs & maggie mee
Went cycling round and round the same ole road
Went online at 4.30
No one was there
I was left alone for 2 hours
Went online again at 6.30 no, wait, 7 something in the evening
Finally saw half my contacts online
Glory, Glory, Hallelujah!! Whoop Whoop
Mum & I talked about etiquette over dinner
SUDDENLY changed subject to “fartiquette”
Started cracking up laughing
There goes our digestion… Pfft
Took a nap before that
I thougt i dreamt of George Bush in swimming trunks but I forgot how he looked like. Pfft
Went online after I woke up
Chatted with Kimmy & Ethian
Aren’t they quite a pair? *ahem cough cough*
Tended to a load of laundry (my chore)
My Mum was beaming from East to West
Feeling real proud & confident
She feels that she can now send me off to the Amazon Forest
To handle the orang-utans since I actually now know how to cook, to iron, to do laundry & to play the Amazing Grace
Except that I will have to pack a washing machine along…not to mention my piano.
I had such a shattering earthquake laughter conjuring this post with my mum.
I was being careful to make sure that the wind did not come from me but the fan.
Phew, I made it with much facial contortion.
Good wrinkle-free facial exercise would be my only consolation then.
We are really having a humorous affair!
Pfft

Quotes I’ve Understood Well
There’s never nothing going on. There are no ordinary moments
Sometimes you have to lose your mind before you come to your senses
Anger, hatred, violence: They’re all just fear. Fear then, not money, is the root of all evil
The kiosk theory is correct, Except the kiosk is not kiotic but perfectly controlled
The people who are the hardest to love are usually the ones who need it the most
Habit is the problem. All you need to do is to be conscious about your choices & and be responsible for your actions
There is no starting or stopping, only doing
Life is a mystery. Don’t waste time trying to figure it out
Politics is made up of 2 words : ‘Poly’ which means ‘many’ & ‘ticks’ which mean ‘blood-sucking parasites’
 Enjoy!

Six Harsh Rules (but maybe they might not be true)
Rule 1- Life is not fair. Get used to it
Rule 2- The world won’t care about your self esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself
Rule 3- You will not make 40 thousand dollars a year right out of high school. You won’t be a vice president with a car phone, until you earn both.
Rule 4- If you think your teacher is tough, wait til you get a boss. He doesn’t have tenure.
Rule 5- Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your grandparents had a different word for burger flipping. They called it Opportunity.
Rule 6- If you mess up, it’s not your parent’s fault, so don’t whine about your mistakes, learn from them.

Friends- Do They Make You Look Cool or Like A Fool (an article by some1)
Friends- Do They Make You Look Cool or Like a Fool?
âHey, I thought we agreed about this?â
âLook, I changed my mind okay.â
âBut weâre best buddies. Friends are supposed to stick around & help each other. After all, a friend in need is a friend indeed.â
âSorry pal, that only happens on Disney channel. Besides, Iâm your only puppy!â
Sounds ridiculous? Yes, maybe. But what if it really were are real conversation between two homo sapiens?Think that one party is being too selfish?Or perhaps the other party no longer feels comfortable and secure in the other personâs presence and decides to bid âadiosâ before itâs too late.
A true friend sticks to you like elephant glue (thatâs what most art teachers will claim). But are our friends really as sincere as we think? Those who claim to be your friend but who do not respect you for your values and principles will only take you for a ride in a little world of false hopes and pretensions. After all, havenât we all heard of this little anecdote: being alone is better than having an evil companion but having a sincere companion is better than being alone.
Friends are special because we single-handedly pick them. Besides, we canât live without our âpower puff girlsâ. We enjoy meeting them and talking to them non-stop over the phone. But âshoppingâ for good friends can be a tricky thing. Weâve all been fed up with doses of Aesop fables regarding who we choose as our friends. Friends should be chosen based on positive character and not on popularity & status.
But so what? (you may ask). itâs not such a big deal even if he or she picks-pockets or talks in a language that no goody-two-shoes will be able to decipher. After all, itâs not like he or she is a drug addict or something. We all have our own faults. Besides, friends are supposed to stick together through thick or thin. Right? Wrong! To remain within the reach of a spotted leopard means that it will surely spring on you one day.
Have we ever realized that we become like those whom we hang out with? Stop & think for a moment. The way we talk, the jokes we crack & the fact that we canât get enough of Friendster & You Tube. Somehow there is a tinge of similarity when it comes to our personal traits and those of our buddies.
Here is a beautiful analogy that Iâd like to share with you on how friends influence our lives. âThe example of a sincere companion & a bad one is like a perfume seller. Every time you visit the perfume seller, you benefit from his or her shop: You either get some perfume as a present or you buy some from him. Or sometimes you at least obtain the beautiful fragrance when being with him. On the other hand, when being with the worker on the bellows you might soil your clothes or get a bad stench from him.â These were quoted by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Sociologists say that the ability to maintain friendships ebbs and flows with age. Here are some interesting facts about the number of friends we eventually have throughout our lives.
Number of best friends the average adult has : one or two
Number of casual friends an average adult has : ten to twenty
The amount of time it takes to form a lasting friendship : three years
Time of life when people have the least friends : middle age
Time of life when people have the most number of friends : young adulthood & old age
So, are your friends really worth it? Do they knock some sense in your head or do they make you feel guilty about the things you do together? But apart from judging others based on our own perceptions, we should ask ourselves this most important question: âAm I a sincere friend to others?â Think about that the next time you watch Disney Channel.

Today was a very tiring day… First I had to go for running and then go for dancing. it was none-stop hard work la. Sigh, I’m practically sunburnt, aching, and exhausted from running, but, on top of that I have to go for swimming in the morning… This year is freakishly hectic. Oh well, what to do… Crap!!!! Bonnie & Amber, a shoutout to both of you: Please don’t link my 2nd blog and please don’t tell anyone about the 2nd blog or you shall suffer the consequences (joking la but if u really do tell then maybe i will do what i say). Heehee!! It’s kind of weird that while typing my new post, I have the stupid Girlfriend song in my head: Hey hey you you i know that you like me …. Argh!!!!!! It’ll take me quite a while to get it out of my head. Btw, thank you Andrew & Elena for the pizza!!! it was yummy!! I got this question from one of my friends who sent me an e-mail: What if George W. Bush was a Jedi? Ever thought about it? Haha!! Imagine George Bush in the black robes, with a Jedi sword thingy or whatever you call it… He looks so lame…. LOL!! This coming Friday is the Bronze expedition!! Yay!! I wonder who else is going besides Amber and Miyuki? I’ll find out bout that later…. Well, I’ll write more later.
xoxo
